New Moon – Stephanie Meyer

For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is even more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just beginning. In “New Moon”, Stephanie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural spin. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

It took me a while to really get into New Moon. The book starts off a bit tedious with the only topic being, Bella’s depression and morose attitude. I did enjoy all of her risk-taking adventures. I only wish I could be as brave as her in this book. The read does get much better towards the end. And ultimately leaves you wanting more.  -Brittany, Teen Clerk

Since I’m a schoolteacher and a YA author, our local librarian asked me to get involved with their New Moon party (coming soon with the release of the movie). At her request, I put together a New Moon party planner, which is now available for everyone via my blog. I know it’s rude to steal traffic from other people’s sites, so I’ll just say this. If you click on my name here and it doesn’t take you to my site, try googling Passing Love Notes (that’s the name of my blog).

I hope everyone enjoys the New Moon!
